Purpose
These terms and conditions aim to define the sales procedures between Kathia Bucho Jewellery and the customer, from order placement to services, including payment and delivery.
These conditions are agreed upon between the online store Kathia Bucho Jewellery (kathiabucho.com) and customers who place orders. In the event of omission of any condition, it will be considered regulated by the customs and practices in force in the distance selling sector, in accordance with the rules of the Code of Ethics and Fair Practices of AMD – Portuguese Association of Direct Marketing.
Orders
To place an order through the website, the customer must complete the form provided for this purpose. Before validating an order, you should consult the form to confirm the data, namely the name and shipping and billing address. Kathia Bucho Jewellery will not be held responsible for shipping errors due to incorrect information.
All prices include VAT at the rate in force in Portugal (23%).
The fact that the customer places an order implies maximum price limits and descriptions of the products available for sale, as well as the general terms and conditions of sale, which will be the only ones governing the contract thus concluded.
Kathia Bucho Jewellery reserves the right to refuse any order.
Payment and Billing
Kathia Bucho Jewellery offers customers the following payment methods: Multibanco Reference, MBWay, Bank Transfer, PayPal.
Kathia Bucho Jewellery will not have access to its customers' payment data and will make every effort to ensure maximum confidentiality and security of data transmitted over the internet.
Shipping
Shipping on orders placed in the online store is free.
Kathia Bucho Jewellery reserves the right to add shipping costs at any time.
(Preparation/production times are indicated next to the specification of each piece).
Orders for mainland Portugal, islands and Spain are shipped via Nacex. Other international orders are shipped via CTT, by registered mail with a tracking number.
Shipping Time (from the moment we dispatch):
  • Mainland Portugal: 1 business day
  • Portugal Islands: 2 business days
  • Europe: Approximately 5 business days
  • For the rest of the world: Variable, depending on the country (we can specify by email: kathiabucho@gmail.com).
All products are properly accommodated and packaged.
For orders shipped via CTT (Portuguese postal service), the customer can track the shipment through the CTT website (object search), using the provided tracking number.
If you wish to change the shipping method to a different or faster one, you must contact us via email at kathiabucho@gmail.com.
Shipments outside of Europe are sometimes held up in customs. We cannot be held responsible for delays or customs fees or taxes.
Kathia Bucho Jewellery is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the shipping process.
Returns and Exchanges
The customer may return the product within 15 days of receiving it, requesting an exchange or a refund.
To do so, you must send us an email to kathiabucho@gmail.com requesting the exchange or refund.
The item must be returned in its original box, without any signs of use, and along with proof of purchase.
The costs of returning the order are entirely the customer's responsibility, as are the shipping costs for the new item (in case of an exchange).
When returning the item, you must provide proof of shipment and delivery, as Kathia Bucho Jewellery is not responsible for any loss.
If the return is approved, we will initiate the refund via the original payment method or the exchange.
Shipping Costs for Returns or Exchanges
The customer will always be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds: In case of a refund, the shipping cost of the order will be deducted from the refund amount.
Exchanges: When making an exchange, the return shipping cost will be charged to the customer.
Products
Items are legally hallmarked, where applicable (namely 925 silver items over 2.0g). If you have any doubts about the authenticity of the hallmarks, please contact the Assay Offices (INCM) for verification.
